Carbon Footprint

Reducing our carbon footprint is an integral part of Welding Alloys’ sustainability strategy. We are committed to strengthening the measurement and monitoring of our greenhouse gas emissions in order to better understand our environmental impact and identify opportunities for continuous improvement across our operations.

As part of this approach, Welding Alloys France calculates and monitors its Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, covering both direct emissions from our activities and indirect emissions related to energy consumption. In parallel, we are progressively collecting environmental data from other subsidiaries across the Group in order to further structure and expand our carbon reporting framework.

This global approach also supports compliance with evolving regulatory requirements, including the implementation of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), which is already in place within the European Union. Particular attention is being given to subsidiaries outside Europe supplying products to the European market, enabling us to anticipate reporting obligations and strengthen carbon transparency across our value chain.

At the same time, we have already initiated concrete actions to reduce our carbon footprint, including energy efficiency improvements.

Through enhanced carbon monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives, Welding Alloys is committed to supporting a more responsible and lower-carbon industrial model.
