• A versatile machine for cladding screws

    Screwflight Welding Machine

Screwflight Welding Machine

The Screwflight automated welding machine is designed to clad the different parts of a screw, in all positions allowing welding in the downhand position and with very impressive production speeds.

The machine offers maximum cladding productivity in its ability to automatically weld the shaft, the fillet and the flight, as well as the outside of the screw. Its 5 axis movement combination and the machine’s ability to maintain constant surface speeds, allows the screw to be oriented in any direction, whilst ensuring the highest weld quality and accuracy.

The Screwflight machine can be used for cladding a range of different types of screws, such as those used in conveyors or feeders within the food, cement, recycling or pulp & paper industry.

Key features of the machine

  • Multiple weld patterns: oscillating beads, stringer beads, chevron shape, spiral welding and helix.
  • Import facility for component geometries
  • Programmable Helix mode
  • Identification of operators
  • Various welding processes: FCAW-S, FCAW-G, GMAW, SAW, GTAW, PAW
