Our founder, Jan Stekly, was first introduced to the world of wire production while working at a wire mill during a summer holiday in Vancouver, Canada. In 1966, Welding Alloys was born, when Jan built his first fused flux crushing machine in an agricultural bungalow in Fowlmere, England.
