1 welding-alloys.com Our company Welding Alloys is a global leader in the production of advanced welding consumables and automated welding equipment for hardfacing, cladding, joining and repair. We also offer an industry-leading range of engineered wear services in our workshops or in situ, as well as a wide range of wear plates, pipes and components. For more than 50 years, industrial users across the globe have relied on the expertise of Welding Alloys to increase productivity and reduce costs through effective repair and maintenance solutions. Since 1966, the name Welding Alloys has been synonymous with excellence in research and development (R&D), resulting in a steady stream of innovative products and advanced technical solutions and services. Today, our R&D and technical teams remain at the heart of the business, able to solve the most complex industrial wear protection challenges by leveraging the latest scientific and engineering practices. Many of our technological innovations are a result of tapping into our network of academia, standards organisations, welding associations, and research partnerships across the world. We deliver fast-track wear protection solutions in the most challenging environments and industries, through multidisciplinary teams located around the globe. Welding Alloys is a participating member of the United Nations Global Compact and supports all principles relating to the environment, labour, human rights, and anti-corruption. With this in mind, we have developed welding wires that emit less harmful fumes, and we manufacture a range of our wires using processes that produce less harmful waste for the environment. Our service solutions also contribute to decreased energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions by extending the life of new and existing parts through repair and maintenance. Our founder, Jan Stekly, was first introduced to the world of wire production while working at a wire mill during a summer holiday in Vancouver, Canada. In 1966, Welding Alloys was born, when Jan built his first fused flux crushing machine in an agricultural bungalow in Fowlmere, England. We achieve this through our integrated product and service offering of welding consumables, welding machines, wear plates, pipes & components, as well as our engineered wear services. Our extensive range of advanced welding consumables are produced using our own manufacturing equipment at sites located across the globe. We also manufacture our own automated welding equipment for rebuilding, hardfacing, cladding or joining, which incorporates the latest technology. 11 welding-alloys.com Welding consumables Welding Alloys offers the world’s most extensive range of advanced welding consumables for hardfacing, cladding, coating, surfacing, rebuilding, joining, repair and maintenance. In addition to cored wires, our range of welding consumables includes solid welding wires, TIG rods, tubular and coated welding electrodes. Our hardfacing consumables are specially developed to extend the service life of industrial components, preemptively on new components, or as part of a maintenance programme on existing components. For each industrial application and wear type, there is a corresponding Welding Alloys cored wire to increase wear resistance, improve productivity and reduce the total cost of ownership of parts. Our cladding consumables provide increased resistance to wear resulting predominantly from corrosion, but also in certain cases, temperature, abrasion and erosion. Our range includes wires for stainless steels, nickel-based alloys, and cobaltbased alloys, offering excellent weldability and outstanding mechanical properties. Our joining and repair consumables offer high quality welds and excellent performance. Customers benefit from clean fusion, impeccable bead appearance, with virtually no spatter and excellent mechanical and metallurgical properties. We also offer wires for thermal spray applications, which include specialist aluminium wires. Our welding machines benefit from state-of-the-art technology capable of carrying out complex and precise welding patterns using our D3 Touch and D3 Pendant control technology. We can provide customised user access and permissions to the control system for specific requirements. All machines can be adapted to operate using a variety of welding processes and can be used with single or multiple heads, operating with single or twin wire. We manufacture heavy-duty fixed installation equipment, portable equipment, as well as customised machines for specific applications. Complementary to our range of new machines, we offer retrofit solutions for old or obsolete machines to ensure welding equipment and production remains optimal. Welding machines To complete our offer, our welding machines are also supported by global spare parts distribution. At our warehouse in Colmar, France, we manage comprehensive parts and accessory inventories for current and discontinued machines, ensuring best-in-class customer support.

Pipes and components can benefit from a range of ceramics, paints, resins, rubbers and numerous alloys used for weld-cladding and hardfacing. These materials provide resistance to parts under extreme wear conditions, including abrasion, erosion, corrosion, impact, thermal fatigue or a combination of one or more of these phenomena.
