History The story of Welding Alloys is one of passion, courage, and innovation. Our founder, Jan Stekly, was first introduced to the world of wire production while working at a wire mill during a summer holiday in Vancouver, Canada. In 1966 Welding Alloys was born. From as early as 1974 Welding Alloys designed and manufactured our first generation of welding machines. Since then, we have continued to innovate and produce world class automated welding equipment.
