C&#8217;est l\u00e0 que les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de conversion entrent en jeu, effectuant des transformations mol\u00e9culaires essentielles. Il existe trois types de craquage : le craquage thermique, le craquage catalytique et l&#8217;hydrocraquage. La r\u00e9action donne lieu \u00e0 la formation de coke.<\/p>\n<p>C&#8217;est lors de la mise au point des premi\u00e8res installations industrielles de craquage thermique qu&#8217;est apparu le four tubulaire, v\u00e9ritable r\u00e9acteur de l&#8217;unit\u00e9, dont l&#8217;emploi s&#8217;est ensuite g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9 dans toutes les autres installations de raffinage comme un moyen efficace de fournir des calories aux produits trait\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Actuellement, le craquage thermique est pratiqu\u00e9 sur la partie lourde des r\u00e9sidus (r\u00e9sidus sous vide), de fa\u00e7on mod\u00e9r\u00e9e par viscor\u00e9duction, ou de fa\u00e7on s\u00e9v\u00e8re par cok\u00e9faction. Il est aussi utilis\u00e9 avec de la vapeur (vapocraquage) en p\u00e9trochimie pour produire les ol\u00e9fines.<\/p>\n<p>La conversion g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9e des distillats sous vide et la diminution des quantit\u00e9s de p\u00e9trole bruts trait\u00e9s ont entra\u00een\u00e9 la s\u00e9paration de tous les distillats sous vide. Il en a r\u00e9sult\u00e9 une production corr\u00e9lative de r\u00e9sidu sous vide bien sup\u00e9rieure aux besoins des bitumes. Les exc\u00e9dents tr\u00e8s visqueux sont dilu\u00e9s avec du gazole pour obtenir une viscosit\u00e9 du m\u00e9lange conforme \u00e0 la sp\u00e9cification requise pour le fioul lourd.<\/p>\n<p>La viscor\u00e9duction du r\u00e9sidu sous vide est un craquage thermique mod\u00e9r\u00e9 de plus en plus employ\u00e9 car, outre une faible production de distillats l\u00e9gers, il permet d&#8217;obtenir un r\u00e9sidu moins visqueux r\u00e9duisant ainsi la quantit\u00e9 de gazole de dilution introduite dans le fioul lourd et par cons\u00e9quent la quantit\u00e9 de fioul lourd fabriqu\u00e9. Dans certains cas, cette quantit\u00e9 est encore sup\u00e9rieure aux besoins du march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>La cok\u00e9faction du r\u00e9sidu sous vide, qui est un craquage thermique s\u00e9v\u00e8re, se substitue alors \u00e0 la viscor\u00e9duction. Il est r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 en continu : le coke qui se d\u00e9pose \u00e0 sa surface est br\u00fbl\u00e9 au fur et \u00e0 mesure.<\/p>\n<p>Les installations industrielles de craquage catalytique sont tr\u00e8s complexes : outre le r\u00e9acteur et le r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rateur, elles comportent une s\u00e9paration des produits craqu\u00e9s, sorte de p\u00e9trole brut synth\u00e9tique, ainsi qu&#8217;une r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration d&#8217;\u00e9nergie puisque la temp\u00e9rature de r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ration est proche de 700 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>Les catalyseurs et la technologie de la r\u00e9action ont \u00e9volu\u00e9 pour augmenter \u00e0 la fois la conversion et la production d&#8217;essences. Maintenant, les catalyseurs tr\u00e8s actifs sont des tamis mol\u00e9culaires, le temps de contact est de l&#8217;ordre de quelques secondes et le rendement en essence voisin de 50%. Des installations de craquage catalytique de r\u00e9sidu atmosph\u00e9rique commencent \u00e0 se d\u00e9velopper, mais ce produit doit pr\u00e9alablement \u00eatre \u00e9pur\u00e9 pour \u00e9viter l&#8217;empoisonnement du catalyseur.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-99aq2ot-cb92b6d19f79f8ad388b2cddd842839a '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><strong>L&#8217;hydrocraquage et l&#8217;hydrod\u00e9m\u00e9tallisation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le craquage catalytique en pr\u00e9sence d&#8217;hydrog\u00e8ne est pratiqu\u00e9 sur les distillats sous vide (hydrocraquage) et sur les r\u00e9sidus atmosph\u00e9riques (hydrod\u00e9m\u00e9tallisation).<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;hydrocraquage r\u00e9alise une transformation presque compl\u00e8te en essence, carbur\u00e9acteurs et gazoles, et s&#8217;effectue en une seule ou deux \u00e9tapes suivant que l&#8217;on vise la fabrication maximale de gazoles ou d&#8217;essences. Une forte pression d&#8217;hydrog\u00e8ne (100 \u00e0 150 atmosph\u00e8res) associ\u00e9e \u00e0 une temp\u00e9rature mod\u00e9r\u00e9e (350 \u00e0 450 \u00b0C) limite les d\u00e9p\u00f4ts de coke sur le catalyseur.<\/p>\n<p>Le choix d\u2019acier chrome molybd\u00e8ne est pertinent pour la r\u00e9sistance au fluage eu \u00e9gard des fortes temp\u00e9ratures appliqu\u00e9es allant de 350 \u00e0 700\u00b0C dans trois proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de conversion list\u00e9s ci-dessus. Malheureusement il pr\u00e9sente ses limites en termes de r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion et \u00e0 la corrosion sous contrainte.<\/p>\n<p>Ces aciers ne sont pas appropri\u00e9s pour la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion, entra\u00eenant ainsi la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de d\u00e9poser par placage une couche protectrice (protection contre la corrosion) sur ces tubulures pour ralentir la derni\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019absence de bismuth dans les fils permet d\u2019\u00e9viter la fissuration de compos\u00e9s \u00e0 hautes temp\u00e9ratures.<\/p>\n<p>De nombreux appareils \u00e0 pression fonctionnent \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures souvent sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 450\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>Les fils fourr\u00e9s conventionnels en acier inoxydable rutile contiennent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement des ajouts d&#8217;oxyde de bismuth (Bi2O3) afin d&#8217;am\u00e9liorer le d\u00e9tachement du laitier. Le d\u00e9p\u00f4t soud\u00e9 contient donc des traces de bismuth.<\/p>\n<p>La plupart des soudures en acier inoxydable r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 la corrosion sont mises en service telles quelles, sans traitement thermique. De telles constructions sont destin\u00e9es \u00e0 des applications o\u00f9 la temp\u00e9rature de service ne d\u00e9passe pas 300\u00b0C. Dans ces conditions, l&#8217;utilisation d&#8217;oxydes \u00e0 bas point de fusion pour am\u00e9liorer le d\u00e9tachement du laitier ne pose pas de probl\u00e8me.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, de nombreux aciers inoxydables sont \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9s dans des applications o\u00f9 la r\u00e9sistance aux temp\u00e9ratures \u00e9lev\u00e9es est importante.<\/p>\n<p>Dans ces cas, les constructions doivent fr\u00e9quemment fonctionner \u00e0 plus de 500\u00b0C et, dans les joint soud\u00e9es, le bismuth et d&#8217;autres \u00e9l\u00e9ments \u00e0 bas point de fusion peuvent s\u00e9gr\u00e9ger aux joints de grains et provoquer des fissures.<\/p>\n<p>Les fils auxquels on a d\u00e9lib\u00e9r\u00e9ment ajout\u00e9 du bismuth ne sont pas recommand\u00e9s pour des applications sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 500\u00b0C ou lorsqu\u2019un traitement de recuit est effectu\u00e9 apr\u00e8s le soudage. Dans ce cas, il est recommand\u00e9 d\u2019utiliser des fils fourr\u00e9s en acier inoxydable ne contenant pas plus de 0,002 % de Bi dans le m\u00e9tal soud\u00e9.
