Depuis lors, ce moyen de production s\u2019est largement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 pour devenir aujourd\u2019hui la premi\u00e8re source d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 renouvelable.<\/p>\n<p>La turbine hydraulique est \u00e0 la centrale hydro\u00e9lectrique ce que le c\u0153ur est \u00e0 l\u2019Homme. Parmi les diff\u00e9rents types de turbines existantes, on y retrouve la turbine Pelton, dont la roue \u00e0 augets permet de mettre en rotation l\u2019axe de l\u2019alternateur sous l\u2019action de l\u2019eau. Les augets constituent la partie la plus sollicit\u00e9e et la plus importante de cette turbine, leur forme \u00e9volu\u00e9e s\u00e9pare le jet d\u2019eau et le d\u00e9vie sur ses c\u00f4t\u00e9s, assurant ainsi un rendement optimal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mode de fabrication standard d\u2019une roue<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Il existe plusieurs m\u00e9thodes pour fabriquer une roue Pelton. Dans la plupart des cas, elles sont fabriqu\u00e9es \u00e0 partir d\u2019un monobloc forg\u00e9 puis usin\u00e9 dans la masse, impliquant une perte cons\u00e9quente de mati\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>Pour les roues de plus grandes dimensions, les augets sont obtenus par moulage puis assembl\u00e9s par soudage au moyeu central. Cette technique r\u00e9duit les pertes en mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re, mais complexifie la fabrication de la roue Pelton car son \u00e9quilibrage d\u00e9pend de la pr\u00e9cision d\u2019assemblage des augets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La fabrication additive pour repenser la construction des roues Pelton <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En \u00e9mergence depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es, l\u2019impression m\u00e9tallique 3D se d\u00e9mocratise dans l\u2019industrie. Ces nouvelles technologies sont n\u00e9es d\u2019une \u00e9volution des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de soudage (laser, arc, etc.) pour permettre la fabrication de pi\u00e8ces et de g\u00e9om\u00e9tries complexes, par ajout de mati\u00e8re, au plus proche des dimensions souhait\u00e9es. La qualit\u00e9 m\u00e9tallurgique est bien souvent sup\u00e9rieure aux techniques traditionnelles de fabrication. Cette nouvelle mani\u00e8re de produire change la donne car elle permet aux industriels de gagner en comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 en r\u00e9duisant drastiquement les couts et d\u00e9lais de production, mais \u00e9galement de se doter d\u2019outils de production innovants capables \u00e0 la fois de produire et r\u00e9parer, permettant ainsi de capter de nouveaux gisements de valeur et d\u2019\u00eatre plus r\u00e9silient face aux mutations de march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cas de la fabrication d\u2019une roue Pelton, la fabrication additive combin\u00e9e aux techniques de fabrication classiques permet de tirer avantageusement partie de leurs atouts respectifs tout en s\u2019affranchissant de leurs inconv\u00e9nients respectifs. Il est d\u00e9sormais possible de fabriquer une roue Pelton \u00e0 la demande, \u00e0 partir d\u2019un disque forg\u00e9, par l\u2019ajout direct de fonctions \u00ab\u00a0augets\u00a0\u00bb, couches par couches, au plus proche des surfaces finales, sans probl\u00e8me d\u2019accessibilit\u00e9 et avec la juste quantit\u00e9 de mati\u00e8re n\u00e9cessaire. C\u2019est ainsi qu\u2019en 2019, le site de fabrication de ANDRITZ Hydro, bas\u00e9 en Allemagne \u00e0 Ravensburg, a fabriqu\u00e9 une roue Pelton d\u2019un diam\u00e8tre de 5020mm, en utilisant leur technologie MicroGuss\u2122 bas\u00e9e sur le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 arc-fil (WAAM) pour l\u2019ajout des augets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>R\u00e9alisation d\u2019un d\u00e9monstrateur<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>IREPA LASER et Welding Alloys ont alli\u00e9 leurs connaissances et comp\u00e9tences pour r\u00e9aliser un auget avec la technologie laser-fil (WLAM) commercialis\u00e9e AMFREE. (Photo 2\u00a0: Vue d\u2019ensemble de l\u2019Auget Pelton)<\/p>\n<p>Un mod\u00e8le 3D a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit par r\u00e9troconception \u00e0 partir d\u2019un nuage de point issu du scan 3D d\u2019un auget Pelton existant. Les \u00e9quipes d\u2019IREPA LASER ont alors pu g\u00e9n\u00e9rer un mod\u00e8le num\u00e9rique des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser, g\u00e9n\u00e9rer les trajectoires outil du robot et simuler la fabrication (trajectoires, thermom\u00e9canique) pour garantir une fabrication sans risques.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fabrication chez IREPA LASER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La fabrication a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par IREPA LASER dans son usine de fabrication additive de Strasbourg. La machine utilis\u00e9e est un pilote industriel repr\u00e9sentatif des solutions de production cl\u00e9 en main (machine, logiciel, savoir-faire) commercialis\u00e9es par AMFREE. Bas\u00e9e sur l\u2019usage des donn\u00e9es de fabrication, elle met en \u0153uvre de mani\u00e8re intelligente la technologie AMFREE laser-multifils (Wire Laser Additive Manufacturing) appartenant \u00e0 la famille des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s DED (Direct Energy Deposition). La t\u00eate de d\u00e9pose permet de fondre simultan\u00e9ment plusieurs fils m\u00e9talliques afin d\u2019augmenter la quantit\u00e9 de mati\u00e8re d\u00e9pos\u00e9e, tout en garantissant une stabilit\u00e9 optimale du proc\u00e9d\u00e9. L\u2019apport d\u2019\u00e9nergie est maitris\u00e9 pour permettre une fabrication sans interruption.<\/p>\n<p>Pour la fabrication de cette forme complexe, chacune des couches ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es en choisissant une strat\u00e9gie de contour (pour garantir le respect des surfaces ext\u00e9rieures), suivi d\u2019un remplissage par balayage (pour garantir la compacit\u00e9 et d\u2019excellentes propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques). Les donn\u00e9es de production ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 collect\u00e9es \u00e0 des fins de tra\u00e7abilit\u00e9. (Photo 3\u00a0: Auget Pelton en cours de fabrication utilisant t\u00eate de soudage laser multi-fil)<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019auget ainsi r\u00e9alis\u00e9 mesure 360mm de haut, par 340mm de large et d\u2019une profondeur de 170mm. 14h ont \u00e9t\u00e9 n\u00e9cessaires pour d\u00e9livrer cet auget de 61 kg avec des taux de d\u00e9p\u00f4t moyens compris entre 5 et 6 kg\/h, pour un fil fourr\u00e9 m\u00e9tallique de diam\u00e8tre 1,2mm. De r\u00e9cents d\u00e9veloppements en cours d\u2019impl\u00e9mentation permettent d\u2019ores et d\u00e9j\u00e0 de d\u00e9passer les 8 kg\/h, avec des fils fourr\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Succ\u00e8s<\/strong><strong> du fil Welding Alloys<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les augets standards sont fabriqu\u00e9s en acier inoxydable martensitique avec 13% de Chrome et 4% de Nickel. Welding Alloys propose diff\u00e9rents produits d\u2019apport sur cette gamme en fonction de l\u2019application\u00a0: fil fourr\u00e9 \u00e0 poudre m\u00e9tallique, \u00e0 laitier rutile pour souder en position ou \u00e0 laitier basique pour atteindre des r\u00e9siliences exceptionnelles.<\/p>\n<p>Pour cette application, le fil fourr\u00e9 \u00e0 poudre m\u00e9tallique <a href=\"https:\/\/welding-alloys.zerobox.co.za\/fr\/produit\/chromecore-m-410nimo-g\/\">CHROMECORE M 410NiMo-G<\/a> en diam\u00e8tre 1,2 mm a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 pour assurer un d\u00e9p\u00f4t r\u00e9sistant aux sollicitations m\u00e9caniques, \u00e0 la cavitation, \u00e0 l\u2019abrasion mod\u00e9r\u00e9e et \u00e0 la corrosion.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019utilisation de fils fourr\u00e9s offre de nombreux avantages pour la fabrication additive\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Le fil fourr\u00e9 est compos\u00e9 d\u2019une enveloppe tubulaire remplie de poudres m\u00e9talliques, donnant la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019ajuster sa chimie au d\u00e9p\u00f4t recherch\u00e9.<\/li>\n<li>La fabrication des fils fourr\u00e9s offre une grande amplitude en termes de taille de lot, allant de la bobine unique de 15 kg jusqu\u2019\u00e0 plusieurs tonnes pour r\u00e9pondre aux crit\u00e8res attendus.<\/li>\n<li>L\u2019utilisation d\u2019un fil fourr\u00e9 permet de gagner en productivit\u00e9 car l\u2019enveloppe d\u2019un fil fourr\u00e9 fond plus rapidement qu\u2019un fil massif.<\/li>\n<li>La fusion douce de ce fil n\u2019entraine pas de projections et le d\u00e9p\u00f4t ne pr\u00e9sente pas de r\u00e9sidus.
