El equipo de Welding Alloys Panamericana demostr\u00f3 recientemente este compromiso colaborando in situ con un cliente clave del sector hidroel\u00e9ctrico. El objetivo era ofrecer al cliente una soluci\u00f3n alternativa m\u00e1s adecuada a su aplicaci\u00f3n. El equipo sugiri\u00f3 un alambre tubular conocido por su excepcional soldabilidad, que lo hace el indicado tanto para aplicaciones complejas como est\u00e1ndar. Welding Alloys demostr\u00f3 la superioridad de su alambre tubular en comparaci\u00f3n con la soluci\u00f3n existente para la turbina. El equipo tambi\u00e9n proporcion\u00f3 apoyo pr\u00e1ctico en los procesos de soldadura y pruebas en las instalaciones del cliente en M\u00e9xico, utilizando nuestro alambre tubular de uni\u00f3n <a href=\"https:\/\/welding-alloys.zerobox.co.za\/es\/producto\/chromecore-m-410nimo-g\/\">CHROMECORE M 410 NiMo-G<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Se realiz\u00f3 una visita t\u00e9cnica durante una semana en noviembre de 2023, centrada directamente en la aplicaci\u00f3n del producto <a href=\"https:\/\/welding-alloys.zerobox.co.za\/es\/producto\/chromecore-m-410nimo-g\/\">CHROMECORE M 410 NiMo-G<\/a> en sus turbinas para proyectos que ten\u00edan actualmente en curso.<\/p>\n<p>El primer d\u00eda se realizaron varias pruebas de soldabilidad en placas con el alambre en diferentes posiciones: horizontal y vertical. Participaron todos los soldadores del cliente y los resultados fueron prometedores. El material de aporte demostr\u00f3 un excelente rendimiento en varias posiciones y manipulaciones. En particular, los cordones aplicados eran pr\u00e1cticamente perfectos, sin defectos de soldadura, incluso sobre un metal base en mal estado (sin limpiar).<\/p>\n<p>En el segundo d\u00eda comenz\u00f3 la aplicaci\u00f3n directa del alambre en dos turbinas, concentr\u00e1ndose en dos puntos principales en los que se estaban produciendo erosi\u00f3n y cavitaci\u00f3n, y la soldadura mostr\u00f3 resultados prometedores. El equipo de Welding Alloys apoy\u00f3 estrechamente a los soldadores durante todo el proceso, desde la apertura y preparaci\u00f3n del material hasta la aplicaci\u00f3n de los componentes, pasando por los distintos turnos de operaciones.<\/p>\n<p>Tras un exitoso inicio del proceso de soldadura, en el tercer d\u00eda, el equipo continu\u00f3 apoyando al cliente con la soldadura de las turbinas, desde el inicio del primer turno. Estaba claro que el uso de <a href=\"https:\/\/welding-alloys.zerobox.co.za\/es\/producto\/chromecore-m-410nimo-g\/\">CHROMECORE M 410NiMo-G<\/a> mejoraba el rendimiento y la eficacia durante la aplicaci\u00f3n del alambre. El proceso cubri\u00f3 un \u00e1rea mayor en menos tiempo, minimizando la necesidad de periodos prolongados en posiciones inc\u00f3modas dentro de espacios reducidos y la exposici\u00f3n a altas temperaturas y humos. En particular, la ausencia de incrustaciones, chispas, poros, grietas y cualquier defecto de soldadura en la aplicaci\u00f3n sobre la turbina elimin\u00f3 la necesidad de una limpieza mec\u00e1nica constante entre cordones de soldadura.<\/p>\n<p>En el cuarto d\u00eda se lleg\u00f3 a la conclusi\u00f3n de que el alambre se comportaba como se esperaba cuando se aplicaba al componente en diferentes posiciones y no hab\u00eda problemas. Sin embargo, hab\u00edan identificado un par de grietas en las soldaduras que ya se hab\u00edan aplicado con otra marca de alambre de soldadura, que se eliminaron retirando el material existente y aplicando el alambre de Welding Alloys.<\/p>\n<p>En el \u00faltimo d\u00eda se soldaron los cierres de los \u00e1labes, aplicados en contacto directo con alambre de otra marca. El resultado fue una adhesi\u00f3n excelente, con una compatibilidad total y sin que se observaran defectos de soldadura. El alambre tubular result\u00f3 ser extremadamente f\u00e1cil de usar y manejable, lo que se tradujo en un bonito aspecto visual tras la aplicaci\u00f3n del alambre a las turbinas. Los resultados positivos, combinados con el excepcional apoyo prestado por Welding Alloys, garantizaron una actitud favorable de los soldadores hacia el cambio. Adem\u00e1s, se realizaron pruebas de soldabilidad con material de aportaci\u00f3n TIG de la aleaci\u00f3n 410 NiMo en di\u00e1metros de 1,2 mm y 3,2 mm. Durante estas pruebas estuvieron presentes dos supervisores y el soldador del cliente. Al instante, se identificaron otras aplicaciones para reparaciones espec\u00edficas en la turbina.<\/p>\n<p>Tras pasar una semana con el cliente in situ, <a href=\"https:\/\/welding-alloys.zerobox.co.za\/es\/producto\/chromecore-m-410nimo-g\/\">CHROMRECORE M 410NiMo-G<\/a> destac\u00f3 como el alambre de soldadura preferido.
