Unter normalen Bedingungen dauert es einige Zeit bis es dadurch zu einem Materialverlust kommt. Treffen Partikel auf die Oberfl\u00e4che von spr\u00f6den Materialien, kommt es zu einem Spr\u00f6dbruch und bei duktilen Materialien zu einer Kombination aus Materialabtrag, Erm\u00fcdung und Scherbruch.<\/p>\n<p>Erosion, durch in einer Fl\u00fcssigkeit gel\u00f6ste Partikel verursacht, ist ein h\u00e4ufiges Verschlei\u00dfph\u00e4nomen bei Pumpen. Sie kann auch als Kavitations-Erosion auftreten, die durch implodierende Wasserdampfblasen auf der Oberfl\u00e4che eines Materials, wie Pumpengeh\u00e4use und Laufr\u00e4der, verursacht wird. Oberfl\u00e4chen, die der Erosion ausgesetzt sind, verschlechtern sich im Laufe der Zeit und werden so geschw\u00e4cht, dass die Oberfl\u00e4che rei\u00dft, bricht oder l\u00f6chrig wird.<\/p>\n<p>Partikel, die auf Oberfl\u00e4chen auftreffen, k\u00f6nnen aus verschiedenen Richtungen kommen, wodurch sich der Verschlei\u00df h\u00e4ufig \u00fcber gro\u00dfe Fl\u00e4chen erstreckt und nicht nur an einer Stelle zu finden ist. Regelm\u00e4\u00dfige Wartung der Anlagen kann den Ausfall von Komponenten oder im schlimmsten Fall einen kompletten Anlagenstillstand verhindern.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<style
